The riverbed of Río Seco is located in the north of the municipality, adjoining the neighbouring towns of El Campello and Mutxamel. This is the final stretch of a river that has different names in upstream sections (Riu Verd and Riu Monnegre).

This part of the river, as its own name indicates, is partially dry most of the year, being a good example of what is called river-rambla, a typical feature of this Mediterranean área, and where several examples of the erosion processes can be found.

However, thanks to the continued contribution of the surplus from the water treatment plant, a minimal flow of water endures all year long, which has turned the riverbed Green again and has transformed it into a home to a very interesting fauna, mainly birds and amphibians.

The perfect place for a walk and to connect with nature.
